An alternative method of physical printing of which was necessary to evaluate within the research stage in order to obtain some positives and negatives of the process is Letterpress. Letterpress as a process involves the transferring of ink from printing press to paper stock through pressure and contact. This process allows for a large variety of choices to be made with designs regarding composition and components. Typographic and abstract printing blocks can be used to create a wide range of design aesthetics through the addition of abstract shapes and typography.
