For the second aspect of visual research for this design brief after looking at a number of typographic examples, a number of additional illustrative design solutions were analysed to understand how they can be utilised to create attractive and aesthetically pleasing branding.
Within this the three different applications of illustrative branding for the Monteray Jazz Festival were evaluated to outline how bright and vivid colours can be combined with topic appropriate illustrations to create a range of not only subconsciously eye-catching but also vastly aesthetically pleasing design outcomes
This method of execution could be utilised within the final design outcome for this brief by playing on iconic imagery related to the genre of jazz music and combining this with aesthetically pleasing design to construct a well rounded brand identity.
